Tonight at the State Theatre there was a free screening of "Ferris Beuller's Day Off." The State has a diverse schedule, from music to local school recitals and an occasional movie, all very reasonable priced. It's best to reserve in advance.
Just outside town, we also have the Packard Campus of the Library of Congress. This is the campus devoted to audio and visual preservation, so they often screen classic films on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Their screenings are almost always free (reserve in advance). Current run movies are available on Main Street at the Regal Culpeper Stadium Four Cinema. Between shopping and a movie, check out all the dining choices here. You'll soon have a favorite, as we do! Come on Saturday mornings through November, and you'll catch the famous Culpeper Farmer's Market. Get authentically local produce, honey and fruit from local growers you can meet and talk to! There are some local bakers and food artisans too! The first weekend in October, you can join in on the Culpeper Harvest Days 2014 Farm Tour. There's also a century bike ride on the same weekend. Fall is probably the most beautiful time of year to visit Culpeper County. Hope to see you soon!
